Effective today, the San Antonio office of Offenhauser & Co. has joined Bowen, Miclette & Britt (BMB), one of the Top 100 independent insurance agencies in the United States. Led by Ross Ormond and Todd Allison, the San Antonio team will continue serving clients across South and Central Texas — now backed by BMB’s full-service platform spanning commercial and personal insurance, surety bonds, employee benefits, and risk management. The remaining offices of Offenhauser & Co. continue to operate independently under their existing brand.

For more than 144 years, the Offenhauser name has represented trust, integrity, and relationship-driven service. That tradition includes the recent retirement of longtime leader Don Morriss after a distinguished 50-year career in the industry. The San Antonio office joins BMB after a deliberate search for a long-term partner that shared its values and commitment to local markets.

“This transition is about expanding what we can do for our clients, not changing who we are,” said Ross Ormond, VP, Managing Director. “We were looking for a partner that respected our history and would invest in our people and our community — and we found that in BMB. The relationships and the team our clients know remain exactly the same, now with deeper resources behind them.”

The addition strengthens BMB’s presence in South Texas and positions the San Antonio office for continued growth across its core practice areas, including construction, manufacturing, and real estate.

“San Antonio is one of Texas’ most dynamic growth markets, with momentum across construction, manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, and professional services,” said Paul Cerone, COO of BMB. “As the region continues to grow, so do the risks, opportunities, and insurance needs of the businesses that call it home. We are proud to invest in this market the right way: by partnering with people who already understand it.”
